Changelog
Added
- SHA512 hashes are now supported.
- When colour output is disabled, ASCII markers highlight any hash mismatches.
- Native Linux ARM64 binary releases are now available, which was requested via the legacy GitHub repo.
- Native Mac packages are now available for direct download which are signed and notarised by the author.
Changed
- Hash mismatches are now highlighted on a byte-by-byte rather than nybble-by-nybble basis. Bytes are not especially meaningful in the context of a cryptographic hash but I find it intuitive to think about binary blobs that way.
Removed
- Paste-from-clipboard option -p and the associated feature has been removed. Virtually any shell will support pasting from the clipboard anyway and the platform-specific baggage was complicating hashgood's build.
